To score, there are a lot of methods

1. Be on the post of the goal. Have a teammate drive it in from the top of the circle, right to the post and you easily tap it in

2. Again have a teammate drive it from the top of the circle, right to the goalies pads. Then you, come in and intercept it from the goalieand flick it in.

3. Control dribble the ball into the circle, and go for the left corner. The goalie will follow you, keeping on her angle. As soon as she gets close enough, do a quick pull and shoot it directly into the other corner.

One goal equals one point. Similar to soccer. But the goal must touch another player within the "circle" in order to count as a goal. (circle is about 16 yards). Such as player A hits the ball from the 50 and it rolls into the goal, no point.

Is field hockey a hard sport to play?

Person 1 Field hockey is just as hard as any sport, it all depends on the amount of dedication you put into it. Person 2 I've played some field hockey and a lot of ice hockey, and I found field hockey much harder. For one thing, it is unfair to those of us who are left shots. Because of the types of sticks in field hockey, we all had to shoot right. Also, a ball on grass is much harder to handle than a puck on ice. I didn't enjoy playing field hockey at all.
