if it has a strap simply place the ball on one end through one of the holes and it will not be able to comeback through or if you want to temporarily hold it on your helmet slide it in between the cage and helmet on the side
Iused hot water to soften it and as it cooled placed it in my mouth and formed it around my teeth (or what is left of them ) and also bit in to it to make my teeth form a bedded area. - watch the heat of the shield as you warm it as it can distort.
you run the mouth gaurd under hot water the bite down hard on the mouth gaurd and it will be molded.
Let it sit in boiled water for 15-30 seconds and cool for 5. Place in your mouth and bite hard enough for your teeth to sink in. You should be good after that.
Well I do hockey and when I tell my team what to do My mouth guard slips but it should stay in place. I fit doesn't get a new mouth guard or mould it again. Hope this helps Anna

Shock Doctor does really good mouth guards. You put them in hot water and then in your mouth. The plastic molds to fit your mouth. You could also get a mouth guard custom fitted at a dentist but that can get pricey.
In ice hockey you should have a helmet (with a face mask), mouthgard, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey pants, shingaurds, and skates. You should also have hockey socks, garter belt (or something to hold up your socks), and a hockey jersey. Along with a hockey stick (FYI you should probably tape your stick with hockey tape.) Hope this was helpful to you.
Shock Doctor is a very effective mouth guard company. I have played hockey and lacrosse for many years, and I have always used Shock Doctor mouth guards. However, Gladiator mouth guards are also top notch.
You call it... An external mouth guard.
buy a new mouth guard
yes, you should because if you fall on the ice the impact from your teeth crashing together will cause a bad injury unless your wearing a mouth gaurd which stops you from serious injuries
