The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves.
If the ball goes out of play on the sidelines, then the team who did not kick the ball out of play goes to throw it back in to their teammates. If the ball goes out of play on the goal-lines, and it was an opponent who kicked it out, then its a goal-kick. If it was an opponents side of the field, then it will be a corner kick.
You cant kick the ball when u play basketball
Well played, good sir. no! why would insects play kick ball? but you have a great imagination.
On any kick where the ball is put into play after a stoppage (such as a kick off, a drop ball or a direct or indirect kick), the player that kicks the ball into play may not make contact with or kick the ball a second time until the ball is contacted or kicked by any other player on the field (AKA "pitch"). Contacting the ball twice in this manner will result in a "two touch" penalty & the ball will be awarded to the other team.
You cannot kick a soccer ball out of bounds and still play it. If the ball is kicked out of bounds you either do a throw in, corner kick, or goal kick, depending where you are on the field.
Both require the ball to go out of play behind the goal. The referee will give a goal kick if the ball goes directly out of play from the opposition team. A corner kick is given if the defending team deflects the ball out of play behind its own goal.
when you kick the ball.
The kick which the goalie uses to move the ball up the field while in play is called a punt. The kick which the goalie uses to move the ball up the field while out of play is generally a goal kick, however a goalie may sometimes take a free-kick.
The ball is put back into play if it goes out of the field. It is put back into play through a kick in case of a Corner or Goal Kick and a throw in other cases.
I assume that kick-out would mean to kick the ball out. Maybe you mean a kick-in? Because when the ball is kicked out by another team, the opposing team has four seconds to kick the ball back into play. During the kick-in, the player must hold the ball on the sideline so it doesn't roll. The ball must be exactly on the sideline when you kick it in. Your stepping foot-opposite your kicking foot-must not go over the line when you kick it in. The defense should kick the ball in to the offense of the goalie.
You call it football because you play with ball and kick the ball
A ball is put back into play with a kick in case of a Corner or Goal Kick. In other cases, it is put back with help of a throw in.
A throw-in, goal kick, corner kick, or kick-off, depending on where it left the field of play and who touched it last.
When play is stopped for an offside offense, play is restarted with an indirect free kick from the spot where the offending player was when his teammate last played the ball, which may be quite some distance from the location of the ball or player when play is finally stopped. If the placement of the ball is within the goal area, the ball may be placed anywhere inside the goal area (similar to a goal kick, except that it is indirect). If the placement of the ball is within the penalty area (including the goal area), the ball is not in play and may not be touched again by any player until it travels directly out of the penalty area. As with any free kick, the player taking the kick may not touch the ball again until it has touched another player. As with any indirect free kick, a goal may not be scored until the ball touches another player (if the ball goes directly into the opponent's goal, the restart is a goal kick). As with any free kick, an own-goal may not be scored directly, and play would be restarted with a corner kick if it happens.
Not necessarily; you can bounce the ball off your foot, as long as your foot is on the ground, and it'll still be in play. If you kick it, though, it's a foul.
To kick the ball and to run and just to play
The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves. The movement does not have to be forward.
Once a "foul" is called a free play is stopped, not only can you touch the ball to set it for the free kick, but the ball must be touched as to be reset before play can continue, even if the free kick is taken quickly.
A corner kick is awarded. In each corner of the field of play there is a quadrant. An attacking player will place the ball in the quadrant and take a direct free-kick.
During active play any player may kick the ball while inside the goal area.
there is no way you just have to have a strong foot like me i play soccer i can kick a ball across a basketball court in the air with little effort
