That might depend on the reason. If she just doesn't like the game or is not interested in the game, there is probably not much that can be done. If she is frustrated because she doesn't think she is good enough or is not developing fast enough, you can try to reason with her and tell her that it takes a long time to become good at anything, especially a sport as demanding as volleyball. A lot of practice and hard work is involved in becoming a good volleyball player. Encourage her to talk about her play with her coach and teammates. Find some books and/or websites about playing volleyball and allow her to look at them and learn. Check out the TV sports channels to see if any volleyball matches are on and encourage her to watch if there are. Then there might be the situation that she doesn't like her coach or some of her teammates. Again, there probably isn't too much that can be done if this is the case. But, whatever you do, reason with her and support her. Understand what is driving her to make this decision.
