Well actually, you don't really do the Subclavian Nerve pinch, it's more of a state-of-mind thing really.

This is your only real problem, I know, I've studied these things.

Can you pinch a nerve in your wrist?

What happens when you pinch a nerve?

If you pinch the nerve then you will have a reaction worse then what you would feel when you get a regular pinch. The nerve is the symptom that causes the pain when you get pinched , so if you get pinched on your nerve exactly then you would have very painful reaction that could maybe cause the place that got pinched to be numb for a few weeks. But to actually pinch the nerve you would have to open the last layer of skin. It would be nearly impossible to pinch the nerve so in that case pinching the nerve would hurt if you had surgery that cut through all of the layers of skin, and a doctor accidentally pinched it, but you can't pinch the nerve without all of the layers of skin open.

What is sublarian?

The subclavian arteries (left and right) are branches of the aorta supplying both the left and right arms respectively. The left subclavian artery stems directly from the AortaThe right subclavian artery is a branch of the brachiocephalic artery when itbifurcates into the common carotid artery and the right subclavian artery. The subclavian veins are continuations of the axillary veins. They are joined by the internal jugular veins to form both the right and left brachiocephalic veins then drain into the superior vena cava. The nerve to subclavius or subclavian nerve is a branch of the brachial plexus which arises from the junction of the fifth and sixth cervical ventral rami.

How do you locate subclavian?

The subclavian vein can be located by palpating the clavicle and the sternocleidomastoid muscle. The vein is typically located just above and slightly lateral to the midpoint of the clavicle. It can also be located by using ultrasound guidance.

Where does the subclavian artery take blood to and from?

As indicated by the name, subclavian, these arteries are located beneath the clavicles. On the right, the subclavian artery arises from the brachiocephalic artery and extends to the axillary artery. The left subclavian artery arises from the aorta distal to the left carotid and extends to the axillary artery.
