Get on your knees and lean over to put the top of your head on the ground. Then put your palms flat at 90 on the ground at 90 degree angles at the elbow. This will be a tripod headstand (your 2 hand and head making up the tripod). While you are just getting started it is easier to put your knees on your elbows and get comfortable in this position. When you have found balance start lifting your legs up so they are in a direct line above your head. It is much more difficult to balance in this position so if you are just starting out practice against a wall! When you get tired of headstands, it is always a good idea to practice coming down slowly to build strength in your lower abdomen. Once you are comfortable balancing near a wall move to the center of a room and start playing around with your practice! Once you have developed the lower ab strength don't put your knees on your elbows anymore, practice piking up (going up with your legs straight). Have fun and make sure to be safe.

it takes practice because you have to have a you know a like kinda flat head lol like just if you know how to do a head stand on you hands, you just let go and keep practicing it untill you master it or can do it :)

It would be far better for you to learn this from a direct contact with a yoga instructor, but here are some suggestions:

  1. Exercise and stretch very well your neck before trying this pose
  2. A thick and soft floor may help your head feel more comfortable
  3. With the hands at the back of your head, you can use your elbows to stabilize the pose
  4. Raise your legs slowly and carefully to avoid problems
  5. You should stand straight

One can learn how to do a headstand on Wiki How. One must start on their hands and knees, then put one's head on the ground. Then, one must put their right knee one's right arm, near one's elbow. Next one pushes off their toe and straighten their left leg to move your weight forward. Then do the same with one's other side. One has to balance one's self and straighten legs.
