There is on a powakaddy a switch on the side which you control with your index finger, the further you turn it the quicker it will go. With some trolleys you have a plus and a minus sign, obviously the plus means quicker and the minus means slower. You should check with the instruction manual to see how you do it.

Is there a speed control on ezgo golf cart?

There probably isn't a speed control on the golf cart itself, but on its engine. To get more or less speed out of it, you would need to mess with the governor (on the engine itself).

When might one use a motocaddy?

A motocaddy is an electric golf trolley used to carry golf clubs and accessories. One might use a motocaddy on the golf course or when traveling long distances with golf equipment.

Why don't golf caddies use a trolley?

There are elevated tees and narrow pathways which would make a trolley impracticle. Trolleys are not allowed on tee boxes or greens so instead of wheeling the trolley round them, they can simply and quickly walk over them.
