You cannot buy a share any longer. The last sale was in 1997. Current shareholders are only allowed to will them to relatives and heirs. Should you buy a share form a current shareholder you are only getting the certificate which will still be in the original shareholders name and they retain all ownership rights and voting privileges.

You can't. The Green Bay Packers need to declare that they are selling stock to others before you can actually buy some, which they aren't doing. The last time they did that was in 1997 to improve Lambeau Field, their home stadium.
You can no longer purchase shares in the Green Bay Packers. They offer it for sale occasionally to make stadium improvements but it's offered at their discretion. The last sale was in 2012 and there is no date set for a future stock sale.

Yes and No
Stock in the Green Bay Packers does not pay a dividend, nor does it change in value. It should not be thought of as stock in the traditional sense, as it is not an investment that will ever be repaid.
umm no dont think so
ipo initial public offer
Debit "Cash" for $18,000 and credit "Equity - Common Stock" for $18,000.
No, you don't have to live in green bay to be a shareholder. I purchased my share of stock when I lived in Robstown Texas.
The cost of issuing new stock is called "Share Issue Cost" or SIC. These costs are treated as an expense on the balance sheet.
No difference. A unit of stock is called a share.
Corporations issue shares of stock, and would have "stock holders" or "share holders". LLCs are not corporations and do not issue stock. LLCs have member and would issue "certificates of membership" or "certificates of beneficial interest". Any reference to shareholders or stockholders in an LLC would be either from a confused individual or an attempt to confuse others.
