You need to win many races in the beginner classes( 125 or Moto 2 ) or in other series ( World Superbike, AMA, British, Spanish etc. Superbike ) to move up to MotoGP.
You also need a team with a budget of + $30 million per year.

Collin Edwards, Randy De Puniet, Alex De Anglis, Mika Kallio, Gabor Talmacsi, James Toselamd & Niccolo Canepa are the riders currrently in MotoGP that have not won a race in the MotoGP class.
The MotoGP race in Australia will be held on Oct. 18/2009 at Phillip Island.
He won some in WSBK, i dont know the amout. He has never won a Motogp race.
if you want to race in motogp you need a big money and experience.but you want to race in a small races you need a motorcycle,helmet, leather and absolutely you must apply it.and important races want a licence from FIM.
The fantastic (not) BBC have decided to show golf instead of MotoGP. If you haven't got Eurosport then you're stuck. If paying the licence fee wasn't compulsory, I'd bin the BBC and use the cash to pay for a proper channel!
