At the gym, we have this thing we like to call "leotard glue" and you roll it onto the place on your skin where the leotard ends and then stick the end/hemming of your leotard to it. It'll take a few minutes to stick, but once it does, it won't move. Just make sure you go to the bathroom before putting it on because it can get painful when you take your leotard off when the "butt glue" is still on ;) I dont have the exact name of this product, but I can update this answer when I get it. It can also be used to keep other articles of clothing in place, like keeping your knee socks from sliding down your legs :) I hope this helps a bit!

∙ 11y agoYou can wear your hair up and a scrunchie. If you feel uncomfortable just wearing a Leo, you can probably get some really short bike stores in your gym's store, or at a lot of other sport stores. Before, during, and after practice, you can wear your favorite zip up sweater and sweats. For competition they will usually measure for a warm-up suit. Besides this, wear anything that is tight and won't get in you way during practice or competition.

Honestly, Brand names fit better. You get what you pay for Ummm... not necessarily. Many of the name brand leotards are higher cut in the legs. They look good, but tend to ride up. Some of the smaller manufacturers are more focused on selling "workout" leotards that are more comfortable. Gymnasticsleotards4u.com is one of those smaller manufacturers that makes their leotards just a bit more conservative in the leg, and therefore they do not ride up during practice.

Anyway, Just one day go up to them and say mom/dad I'm really interested in doing gymnastics. do you think you could sign me up? if they say no don't freak out! (also ask about gymnastics when they r in a good mood) If they say no just do chores, bring up your grades, and don't whine. then ask again about 3 weeks-1 month later and see if they change their mind. If they don't research gymnastics, look at leotards, ask yourself if you want to compete, and look for any gyms near you! (BTW this will show your very interested!!)
