The Superbowl has been and continues to be the most highly watched television even in the world. The real question should be... Why wouldn't advertisers want to put their ads out for this sporting event?

Major news reports suggest that Superbowl XLVI had over 111 million viewers (remember this is TVs tuned in not actual number of people) for the game. I believe that this is only numbers for the United States, however, I could be wrong. With this many viewer, where else and what other event could you reach 111 million house holds and countless number of people all at once?
