It is assumed that you are under legal age to purchase your own. While this forum is not about Family Relations and or Parenting, a few tips may help in this quest you have. Many Adults will agree that there is a certain age when a youth can be trusted with an air rifle and lay down certain rules for it's use. If anything gives a Parent more faith in the idea, it would be that their Son or Daughter shows responsibility. Showing a greater respect for others and things in and around the home is a good start. Respect starts with showing your parents who is boss. While there is no guarantee that this will happen for you, being more responsible and caring for others will certainly have your Parents take notice. Best of luck and be safe.

This is easier depending on what kind of parents you have. Mine are really strict, so I had an incredibly hard time talking them into this.

1. Try to cash in on Christmas or Birthdays. Ask not only your parents but your grandparents and other relatives as well.

2. Try to ask for a relatively cheap one to start with, because a 300$ rifle isn't going to help your odds. They have reliable pistols and some goggles at Wal-Mart for around 15$ apiece, so I suggest starting there or K-Mart.

3. If that doesn't work, try having a friend come over and bring a few of his, and let them see you all using them. Be sure to act very safety-conscious, talking about how it all comes with safety locks and there are goggles and pads to wear.

4. Finally, if you're really desperate, you can do the classic "I'll pay for it." dealio. This hardly ever works, but try if you want.

5. Just get an older friend to buy you one, the age is 16 in U.S, so just get a high school buddy.

Well, the usual method is to pout and whine, and complain that they don't love you, all the OTHER kids have them, and they never give you anything. However, that never worked with MY kids (Come to think of it, it never worked on my parents, either!)An approach that is more likely to succeed? Well, start by showing that you are a responsible young person- clean up the mess in your room, take out the trash without being told, feed, water, and walk your dog, etc. Then get your folks some information on Airsoft guns- they may not know the difference between airsoft and pellet guns. And ASK politely. Good luck.

Well, if you really want it to play Paintball, then prove that to them. Get a job mowing yards to raise your own money for it, and start running laps and such to get in shape. Eventually they'll realize you're serious.

Trust me on this one- it is NOT going to happen. Even if you do get one, your parents WILL find out about it at some point- and you will be in trouble. Don't. Remember, every thing that you are thinking of for the first time, your parents thought about YEARS ago. Advice from Grandad- OK?

Maybe because they think it is dangerous or they look too much like a real gun. It could damage the house if you arent careful.

But, if you want to know how to pursuade them, you have to act responsible around them and dont get them angry when you ask. Also share with them information about the guns and tell them that all your friends have one. You can also tell them you willl learn about gun safety and that you will always wear goggles or a mask when you play with it.

I also dont understand because my parents wont let me get one either. But i guess we have to live with it right?

Maybe you can convince your parents to let you play Airsoft if you give them good reasons like, it's good exercise and can help you to be more skillful. Your parents may feel that Airsoft s violent and that is why they don't want you to play.

How can you convince your mom into letting you have an airsoft gun when she thinks there are too many risks involved?

Answer show your mom articles about how airsoft guns are safe, just keep showing her more because eventually she might think that they have to if you can show her all of those article. This is an extremely useful link to show your parents. It shows that out of all the sports injuries paintball and airsoft are the least likely to get injuries. Even walking has a higher chance. How do you convince my parents to let me have a airsoft?

-you'll pay for it -you'll wear protection -you won't shoot to hurt someone Plus, more players get injured in football or basketball than paintball and airsoft combined. Airsoft has been federally regulated so that it cannot fatally or even seriously injure someone who is wearing the proper protection.

How can you convince your dad to get you an airsoft gun?

If you're a good boy/girl, it's not hard to buy an airsoft gun. Your parents will think that it's OK to buy you one. But if you're a trouble maker, it'll be hard. Your parents will think you'r gonna use it to cause troubles. Try to be a good boy/girl, then ask your parents for an airsoft gun. Explain that it's only a toy/sport goods. I'm sure that they won't be hesitate to buy you one. Trust me, it works.

How do you convince your parents to let you get something?

It depends on what that something is. Parents may object to it because they think it is not safe, expensive, or you are too young. Let them know how you will be responsible on your part.

Is a propane adapter for airsoft guns safe?

No

How do you convince your parents to let you get a pirceing?

They want you to be healthy and safe and no one can argue with that. Parents are not trying to be mean and hurtful, they want you to be safe. A piercing is not a good idea in areas other that one in the ear. I agree with your parents not for you to get one. It can get infected and could eventually lead to diseases and more.
