It doesn't. A tennis ball has a mass of about 57g A Golf ball has a mass of about 46g The golf ball is DENSER because it has material inside it (usually rubber) but the tennis ball is full of a gas (air).

∙ 9y agoA golf ball has more mass than a tennis ball because it contains more matter. Mass is difficult to measure directly. Usually balances or scales are used to measure the weight of an object, and the weight is used to calculate the object's mass.

Because a golf ball is denser. When you cut a golf ball and a table tennis ball in half, the golf ball is solid all the way through. The table tennis ball has a cavity filled with mostly air inside.
A golf ball must weigh no more than 45.9 grams.
yes
A golf ball weighs no more than 1.620 oz (45.93 grams)
A golf ball will bounce higher. It has more mass so it is less influenced by air resistance.
Kinetic energy is a function of mass and velocity. Therefore, an object with more mass, such as a bowling ball, would have to go slower than an object with less mass, such as a golf ball. So, if given the same amount of kinetic energy, a bowling ball will go faster than a golf ball, because it has more mass.
No more than 1.62 oz (45.93 grams)
A golf ball weighs more.
The International Tennis Federation requires a tennis ball to weigh between 56 and 59.4 grams. Under the rules of Golf, a golf ball must weigh no more than 45.93 grams. So no, a golf ball does not weigh more than a tennis ball.
A golf ball will fly further than a ping pong ball. The low mass/weight of a ping pong ball makes it more susceptible to air friction. This greater drag on the ball slow it down sooner than the golf ball.
Think of it this way if you have a golf ball and a wiffle ball they are the same size but they don't weight the same. The golf ball weighs more because it has a greater density In a more mathematical sense, density = mass / volume. If both minerals had the same mass, the more dense one must have a smaller volume.
a golf ball is heavier
