It depends on the circumstances as to whether or not an inmate can be held in prison after his parole date. On average, once the parole date comes, the inmate is released.
My brother has just transferred prisons and I do not know what prison he is being held in. If I use the prison inmate lookup will I be able to find him?
No you cant get married there if the inmate is in reception. When an inmate is in reception they are just being held there until they can figure out where to house the inmate. With this said they do not have the same opportunities in reception as they would if they were at their home facility.
You need to know which block/location the inmate is being held in. http://www.yorkcountyso.org/index2.php?option=com_content&do_pdf=1&id=15
My husband is prison, where do I find a search engine to find out which correctional facility he is being held as an inmate?
Inmate health information are generally held confidential. You can have the inmate sign a release form which will allow you to receive that information.
None that would be 1st Echelon titles (modern day that being the four group of: WBC; WBA; IBF; WBO)
Someone may use an inmate lookup to find where a loved one or relative is being held. One may be searching for a daughter, son, husband, wife, etc. and may think they were perhaps in jail. Someone may just be interested in knowing who is incarcerated, and this is public knowledge.
Don't understand the question. A subject awaiting extradition is either being held in jail in the jurisdiction that arrested him, awaiting the 'wanting' state to come for him - or - he is in transit back to the 'wanting' state - or he is being held in jail in the county where he is gong to be tried. Therefore, except for the few hours he is in transit he is going to be in either one jail of the other.
There are two nationwide locator clearing sites located in the related links below: VINELink and The Inmate Locator. VINELink has been an industry standard (Skip Tracing and Private Investigations) for a number of years, TIL is relatively new). VINELink offers jail searches, which can take time if you are not familiar with which jail the inmate may be held. Unfortunately, you will need to search state by state and jail by jail. The more you can narrow it down, the easier it will be to locate your inmate. Unfortunately, WikiAnswers cannot do this for you. You must do the legwork.
As long as the state that wansts you has indicated that they WILL extradite you, you will be held pending the administrative legal paperwork between the two states which will authorize your removal from one state to the other. If you are still held after a REASONABLE amount of time you may file a writ of Habeus Corpus to determine where the process stands.
Depends on several factors. For example, if the inmate is arrested on new charges in the county where he is being held, then he will not get credit for time served in the county where the outstanding charges are and for which he is being held. Also, if the person being held for another county is on probation or parole in that county, he will not get credit for time served while waiting to be transferred. Finally, IF the inmate has NOT been charged with new charges in the county where he was picked up and held for the other county, and he is NOT on probation and parole on the county with the hold, then it will be up to the judge who presides over his case in the county he is being held for. Once he is transferred there, that judge can either give credit or not give credit for time served in another county while waiting to be transferred. The good news is that in the vast majority of cases, the judge does give credit if the other conditions above do not apply.
