To make yourself flexible you need to strecth alot this will allow your muscle fibres to have more ellastic potential and allow you to stretch further and for longer this will take time so dont expect results instantley glad to help Jordan
Practice!! That is really the only thing that you can do to get better. Depending on where you want to be more flexible there are different stretches. Like push ups and crunches, trunk lifts also there is yoga!
By stretching, every day holding each stretch, like pike, straddle, splits, and a barely uncomfortable level everyday. Overtime this will increase your flexibility, however don't have people sit on your knees or elbows, this can cause permanent damage.
Practice, practice, practice!! Practice daily, and possibly even several times a day. You have to slowly push yourself each time. Each time you are sitting in your splits, try to go down a little further, and a little further etc. It can take a LONG time to develop flexibility, but you just have to push yourself. It should hurt some but don't ever take too much. If you push yourself too much, you can possibly injure yourself and that would set you back from your goal.
Drink plenty of water. Half of your body weight in liquid ounces is a good rule of thumb. Stretch at least twice daily for approximately 20 minutes, morning and night. You should also stretch before a physically strenuous activity or task. Flaxseed oil supplements also improve the production of your synovial fluid, the lubricant present in your joints. Regular stretching improves both your flexibility and circulation, enhancing your overall health, strength and brain function. Circulation can also improve by ingesting cayenne pepper! always warm up before you do a certain stretch eg. before you do a split do a lunge to warm up, before you do a back-bend do mermaid to warm up. GO STRETCH!
If you would like to get flexible you need to stretch, a lot! You should do left, right, and middle splits for 1 to 2 minutes every day. Try putting one leg onto a higher surface to hyperextend your splits. Hold these for quite some time too back bends (or bridge), wrists, ankles, neck, and quads. You need to do this on a daily routine and you will hopefully get flexible. Good luck! The only way to get flexible is to stretch regularly. Regular stretching can improve blood circulation, sleep regularity, and the immune system in addition to gaining flexibility.
To improve flexibility you must stretch everyday.

It seems to be that there isn't a specific method of fitness to improve your flexibility. i am looking this up for my college work, and the only way to improve this is to just generally stretch every day, and make sure you stretch the muscle for about 10-12 seconds, as the muscles are being stretched they then adapt to that length, therefore your flexibility will improve.

There are many different exercise programs designed to improve flexibility. However, one of the best is the centuries old practice of yoga. A good yoga series is designed to increase both flexibility and strength throughout the body.
Flexibility is the ability to bend easily and move freely without stiffness or pain. This trait is important for maintaining mobility and preventing injury in activities such as exercise and sports. Stretching and regular physical activity can help improve flexibility over time.
