Newton's law of motion states something along the lines of the action-reaction force. When the volleyball (in motion) comes down, it bounces off the specific area of your hands/arms/wrists used to "bump" the volleyball. This causes the volleyball to fly into the air, while also causing the reaction force of your hands being pushed downward as you feel the force of the volleyball hitting your skin.

∙ 14y agoInertia is essentially an object's resistance to acceleration. When a volleyball player sends the ball flying, its inertia is what keeps it moving with speed. If inertia didn't exist, the ball would fall straight to the ground, and the game would be extremely boring.

∙ 14y agoMomentum is the mass (weight) multiplied by velocity (speed). If you thow a volleyball slowly it doesn't have much momentum. If you throw it fast it has more momentum. If you fill it with water (heavier) and throw it fast, it has even more momentum.

∙ 13y agoPotential energy means "energy of motion." In volleyball, you have to hit the ball and hitting the ball produces motion.

∙ 14y agoWell, when you are serving overhand the ball will go straight over your head until the outside force (your hand) will act upon the volleyball making it go over the net.

∙ 12y agowell if you don't hit the ball on time it will hit the ground and the opponent team will score anyways isn't the part when the ball hits the ground gravity, Newton discovered gravity.

The total momentum of a system is a measure of motion of one thing equal to the product of the same mass and velocity. This can also be called linear momentum as well as total momentum.
My teacher asked me to explain why I was late for class.Photosynthesis is difficult to explain.
Swimming, water skiing, water volleyball, and diving are examples of water activities.
Momentum, p, is solved by using the momentum equation: p = m*v.

My momentum carried me over the edge and into the sea.
I enjoy playing volleyball.
Momentum = (mass) times (velocity)mass = (Momentum) divided by (velocity)

Conservation of momentum is an absolute symmetry of nature
The momentum before and after is the same, due to the Law of Conservation of momentum. Thus if you calculate the momentum before, then you have the after momentum or vice-versa.
