Baylor played four games in the Preseason WNIT.
NCAA rules allow approved 'extra' tournaments (like the preseason WNIT, the Maui Invitational for men's teams, and the Great Alaska Shootout for men's teams) to count as a single "appearance', regardless of the number of games played.
Those 39-0 teams played in 'extra' tournaments that only gave them 3 games.
