One of the differences between the ancient and modern Roman sports and athletes is that the ancient only allowed the natives of the Roman Empire to participate while the modern one allows those with acquired citizenship to participate. The similarities is that both allows different variety of sports.

∙ 13y agoThe differences between ancient and modern sports is 1. We unlike most of our ancestors use helmets, knee pads and exc. while they got hurt more easily got hurt. 2. We have better gear. We have balls that are made from advanced materials like rubber or plastic used rocks or animal's stomachs. 3.We have more complicated rules.
