take a tumbling class. get better at your skills so you can try out. there are a bunch of articles that tell you what you need to know for tryouts. also, find out what your school's requirements are. if you're homeschooled, maybe you have a cover school and you could start one there.

Answer To be a cheer coach you have to have experience. My cheer coach has been coaching cheer for 23 years and we were world champs last year. What does that tell you? Most cheer coaches go to college like normal but you have to be licensed.
