Miami beat Washington in the super bowl to go the entire season undefeated and the same two played again 10 years later. Pittsburgh and Dallas played in super bowl Xiii and at least one other time. I don't think the same two teams ever played 2 years in a row. If the Steelers and Packers play again this time I think it would be a first.

1993 and 1994 Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. Dallas won both games. That's the only time it happened.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys played against each other three times. The Steelers won Super Bowls X and XIII; the Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX.
