Two or three kickers are usually drafted every year. In the 2008 NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints took kicker Taylor Mehlhaff of Wisconsin in the sixth round and the Seattle Seahawks selected kicker Brandon Coutu of Georgia in the seventh round. The first kicker drafted in the 1st round was Charlie Gogolak from Princeton who was selected by the Washington Redskins in 1966. Current Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski of Florida State was a first round selection in the 2000 draft.
Donald Igwebuike was a kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1985-1990.
Rob Bironas or Sebastian Janikowski.
This question has to be the oddest I have ever seen. The punter punts, and the kicker is the place kicker. On occasion, if one is injured they may intercede
There is NO Dan Bosoms EVER Bears NEVER drafted a Bosoms EVER You've been had
No, there has never been a women to play in the NFL. There have been several women kickers in college, but none in the NFL.
