Not necessarily. A runner is called out if he intentionally leaves the baseline to avoid being tagged, but if he's simply taking a wide turn around a base that's perfectly legal.
yes the batter must touch the base or he will called out
false
The batter is supposed to stay within the rectangle when running to first base. If the batter is outside the box and gets hit with a thrown ball, they can be called out for running outside the baseline.
I am familiar with a national running warehouse. I believe these are organizations who support local runners within individual communties. They sponsor events, manufacture apparel, and provide support to all who are involved. They do encourage others to join into the events as well as encourage healthy lifestyles and habits. So yes, I believe that fitness within an organization such as this one is very important.
For people looking for a runners store, there are Nike ones within the United States. Locations include San Diego, Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia.
You may be an entrant in a Marathon (26.2 mile) race. The entrants are called runners in the race, but, while many can and do run, some may have to walk for part (or all!) of it. Even so, they are still Marathon 'runners', which means official participants in the race.Quote: "More than 17,000 people run in the Los Angeles Marathon every year." ~'Marathons' eHow.comSo, even if you are just walking in the marathon, then you must be one of the runners, 'running' in that event. Similarly, and to put round the other way, even if you are running in that race, you may actually be walking, for at least some, if not all, of the full 26.2 miles. In fact, many people are happy to just walk the entire distance. This is acceptable and within the rules."Run the Marathon! Can't run? That's OK! You can walk!"
It is where there is one-two runners aboard the bases (probably a runner at first base or two runners at first and second base) and a baseball player hits the ball within the infield and gets two of the runners out (depending on who was on what bases) and then there is two outs from that play! Sorry if its confusing :( did the best i could!

running from demons!
If the ball had any contact whatsoever on or within the baseline, it is fair. Otherwise, it's a foul and counted as a strike, but a foul cannot strike you out.
