If you do not give your muscles one or two days of rest they will become fatigued and hinder your muscle production instead of increase it.
For adults and those physically mature, no; however, it can cause injury and even slow growth and development for children and adolescents.
yes, it can actually make you weaker if you do to much a day. If you do it not to much but quite a bit so you dont lose muscle you can carry heavier weights over a time period. But if your under 18 and haven't had your full growth spurt it can stunt growth. It can much make your bones weaker but you these things might not happen you may be lucky or just wait until 18. Also it can make you have undeveloped bones!
No, that's a myth. Weight training will not stunt your growth. However, that does not mean that it is advisable before the age of about 16. Then, lifting weights, when using correct form, should be beneficial. It is risky to do it any earlier unless one has expert coaching and supervision.
if you're really looking for results you need to lift heavy weights and work out a different muscle every day. eating right and using supplements would also help.
Yes to truley build muscle you will have to keep increasing the weight you lift to increse how much muscle you have.
depends on how much of that is fat and how much is muscle.... keep in mind body mass index dont consider that muscle weights more than fat due to its high density
It don't matter how fast you list the weights, it all depends on how much pounds the weights are, and how often you lift them. But I wouldnt lift them to fast, because you might pull a muscle.
Mainly do cardio to lose fat but maintain muscle, bare in mind that doing only cardio will eventually lead your body not doing enough resistance training and to much endurance so you get the long distance runner look and you muscle definition will deminish. So you need to add resistance to your cardio by doing weights. weights will tear muscle fibers and when you rest your body will make these torn fibers bigger and stronger to cope with the load your lifting, doing little weights (40% of what you can lift only once) but lots of reps (30-50+) give toned look were as heavy weights (70% of what you can lift only once) but little reps (about 8-15 reps) will build muscle. On a side note the more muscle you have the more energy you burn as it increases your motabolism, eat the right amount of protein to maintain your muscle growth too.
No i dont think so but if you gain too much muscle mass you're flexibility might be alot less than before. You should try gaining lean muscle, which results from less heavy weights and more repetitions.
It is best for everyone to do weights and cardio work outs. Aerobics are cardio, that will help the heart and to burn fat. Weights will help with muscle grownth and strength. you cant turn fat into muscle but you can loose fat and gain muscle. you will burn more callories outside of the gym with more muscle mass and you should use both weights and weight training together to get great bennifits. weights are great for the bones, muscles and look of your body, Cardio is great for your heart, lung efficiency and metabolism. you could end your weight workout with 30 minutes on some aerobic activity, or do weights one day and cardio the next. YOU CAN NOT TURN BODY FAT INTO MUSCLE! THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF TISSUE!!! the trick is... build muscle and do cardio.... when u build muscle, the muscle needs more calories, therefor, when your doing cardio, your burning more calories. so when ur building muscle, ur metabolism is much higher. but do not ONLY do muscle work, if u do, u will just have muscle under the fat.... combine it with cardio! and of course eat healthy...:)
It really does not effect so much on your growth. There is no proof that it will effect. It's better to exercise than sit at home.
Muscle weights more than fat. So you might still weight 150 lbs and not have fat because you have more muscle in your body.
Sagging as you age is mostly due to loss of muscle under the skin. People who are overweight do not exhibit as much sagging skin as thin people. The answer is to exercise with weights to rebuild the muscle. This will also cause you to lose pounds as muscle burns more calories than fat. Lifting weights 2 or 3 times a week for about 30 minutes is enough to maintain healthy muscle.
