Each Player, staff, and coach on the winning team gets a day with the cup. The team can use it for promotional events and it will usually be in the winning cities celebrations. After the offseason it is taken back to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

∙ 12y agoThe original Stanley Cup (bowl portion only) has been removed and is permanently kept at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, as it was getting too fragile due to age. There are two additional Stanley Cups: One used for presentations, parades and summer touring engagements such as each winning player's "day with the Stanley Cup". The other is on display in the Main Hall of the HHOF.
