For males, no. For females, yes. For males, the high school three point line is 19 ft, 9 inches away from the center of the hoop while the college three point line is 20 ft, 9 inches away from the center of the hoop. This rule became effective during the 2008-2009 season when the NCAA committee elected to move the three point line back one foot for the men.
