Do you have to be flexible when your swimming?

Swimming is not a sport that requires extreme flexibility, like gymnastics or figure skating. Flexibility is a good skill to have, however, when you get to a higher level that demands vigorous training, much like every other sport. Flexibility helps in injury prevention, creates leaner muscles, and aids in performing good technique.
