The Chicago Bulls are a professional Basketball team that plays in the NBA, and were the third basketball franchise of Chicago, after the Chicago Stags and Chicago Zephyrs. The most famous person to ever be on the Chicago Bulls is Michael Jordan (played from 1984-1993 and came back to play from 1995-1999), considered to be the best basketball player of all time. The Chicago Bulls have six championships, all brought by Michael Jordan. The current starting lineup for the Chicago Bulls is Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, and Ronnie Brewer.

The Chicago Bulls logo features the face of a bull that is red, black, and white. Chicago Bulls is written in black above the face of the bull. Alternate logos have a red background with Chicago Bulls written in white.
Up until the 1970s, the city of Chicago had what was called "the stockyards". These were slaughter houses, located on the south side of town, where cattle were brought in by railroad, slaughtered, and send out by railroad to be sold as beef products. With this history, it's understandable why the city's basketball team would choose to name their team players after the male cattle, bulls.
