Hot.

Personal experiments have shown that temperatures below 25°C make the ball bounce less. From 25°C and upwards there aren't any greater changes in height of bounce. The balls bounce almost the same.

Given the same ball manufacturer and product, warm tennis balls will bounce higher than cold ones. However, there are specially made tennis balls that will bounce equally high for a given environment, whether it be in low or high altitudes, temperatures, humidity, court surfaces, etc.

No, a room temperature ball does not bounce higher than a heated tennis ball. In fact, the heated tennis ball will bounce higher than its room temperature counterpart. This is because tennis balls rely on a high pressure internal pocket of air for their bounce.

Heating the tennis ball would increase the pressure of the air inside the ball (pressure varies as temperature) which would cause the tennis ball to bounce higher. This holds (albeit for different reasons) for most solid balls as well, such as baseballs.

In the nature of science the ball would bounce higher whens its warmer because the air wont be so thick. That means the ball woukld get more air

How temperature affect the bounce of a tennis ball. show a bar chart?

Temperature does affect the bounce of a ball. I know this because I did an expiremnt on the exact same question. The hotter the temperature is, the more pressure builds up inside a ball and the more bouncier it will be. The colder it is, pressure decreaces making it bounce lower than what the ball bounced at room temperature. In conclusion, the ball bounces higher when it is warmer and it bounces lower when it is colder.

Does a freezer temperature get warmer if the dial is on a higher number or colder?

The higher the number, the colder it becomes .

Does a fridge temperature get warmer if the dial is on a higher number or colder?

A refrigerator gets colder when the number is turned higher.

Why does it get colder in higher elevation?

Your about to leave Earth's regular temperature. In other words, at the surface of Earth, it's actually more warmer down there. But once you get higher, it starts to get less warmer and starts to get more colder. The higher you go, the colder it gets.

When you get higher in the atmosphere does the air get warmer or colder?

colder, the farther up you go, the lower the tempurature

Would a frozen golf ball bounce higher than a hot golf ball?

No, the warmer golf ball would bounce higher.

What is your hypothesis on how the temperature effects a tennis balls height?

If a tennis ball is cooler then the atoms have less energy so it may hypothetically bounce lower than if it was warmer

Why is a tennis ball warmer when you bounce it?

The transfer of energy from your racket and the ground to the ball causes its particles to move faster, which causes heat.

How does altitude relate to climate?

The higher the altitude the colder the climate, the warmer the climate the lower the altitude.

How does air pressure affect how a ball bounces?

Air doesn't effect the bounce of the ball much higher air pressure the harder the ball lower pressure softer the ball temp effects it too colder soft warmer harder
