If you are a man you would prob prefer hockey skates. Women tend to wear figure skates. your choice.
No. He's a figure skater although he seems to wear hockey skates in the Sure deodorant advert.
When did hooters ever wore roller skates
Yes, black ice skates are for boys. In figure skating, my theory is that black is supposed to distinguish a male figure skater from a female figure skater, who wear white ice skates. Most likely, if you are renting ice skates at a public rink, the skates will be brown or blue/black if they are hockey skates. White and black ice skates are for professional usage, and thus, should not be sold to a person with no skating experience at all.
It depends on what kind of hockey. If you are playing ice hockey you should wear: Ice skates (for ice hockey, not figure skates)shin pads & knee pads (most wear socks over shin and knee pads)padded shortschest and shoulder pads (they look like the pads that foot ball players wear. Make sure to get hockey pads)elbow padsneck guard (optional, but if you want to stay safe and warm you should wear one).helmet (you should wear a cage helmet)Jersey (to complete the uniform)
They're used for different purposes-- figure skates for jumps and spins and speed skates for speed.
Well it depends if your playing on ice, with no skates it could be counted as ice hockey however i would think that without any ice it would just be called hockey.
They wear helmets, chest gaurds, skates.
because they would slip and fall without them:p
Most players are sponsored and wear the brands they represent. But big name skates in the NHL are the Rbk 9k pump skates. Nike Bauer Ones are popular. and mission is still big in skates
There are a number of accessories that one can buy to to accompany roller hockey skates. There are special wheels and bearings as well as skate tools to use on the skates. There are also skate bags for carrying the skates and, of course, protective gear to wear while skating.
Gloves, stick, hockey skates, ordinary underwear, a neck/throat guard, hockey trousers, team sweater
