Bad things that can happen when dancing? Well. You could sprain/or pull a muscle. Or else you could get laughed at. Or you might tear your clothes if you wear the wrong ones. If you wear the wrong shoes, you could fall.

None, dancers a perfect. I kid. Ballet is one of the most difficult physical activities for human beings. While dancing does have many benefits ,health and emotional, most disadvantages come from pursuing a career in dance. AS a professional dancer you must expect to be criticized and judged constantly on almost everything about you appearance. Also having a career in ballet almost requires an obsession with your craft. Ballet is the type of activity that you can only progress through constant repetition and work. With constant strain on muscles and bones, physical discomfort and soreness is a part of a dancers life. yes. even when your not dancing, (which inst often as a professional). The lines and shapes used in classical ballet are natural and often opposite of the way the body is suppose to move. . SO, all in all, ballet requires a strong will, constant work, and a HIGH pain tolerance. trust me.

it's a lot of fun, and it's great exercise. it's definitely something that takes practice if you want to go into competition. also, there are a lot of different styles like ballet, tap, hip-hop, breakdancing, jazz, and so on.

The worst thing about ballet is a lot of people don't appreciate it.Anyway more to the point-if you push yourself to far ballet can be quite traumatic as i have found out with multiple ankle injuries and a knee problem(i'm not even in a company yet)and that can have an effect on your dancing.Another thing is you have to have a certain look and appearance about you-perfectly proportioned body, long legs and arms, long neck, small head, and perfectly arched feet with a high instep which only 2% of the population have. Also ballet is tough and many people drop out either if they can't find work or it's taking up too much free time(recreational ballet dancers)1 more thing is that you never know how far up your going to go in a company, you don't know whether you'll make it past the corps or not and this discourages a lot of people as well. But when i'm having a struggle i try and remember the good things about ballet- we're unique,we're fighters,we're determined and we're pretty tough people as well.

Can dancing cause miscarriage?

It depends on how far you've come along. You shouldn't have a problem in the first, or even the second trimester, but I'd be careful during the third one. Also, if you have a condition that may cause a miscarriage, it could contribute to that problem. Basically, I wouldn't worry about it.
