Koufax recorded a save against the Phillies on May 24, 1964. He pitched the final three innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 2, in a Dodgers 3-0 victory at Dodger Stadium.

He also recorded a save against the Phillies on August 28, 1965 when he pitched the ninth inning of a Dodgers 8-4 victory at Shibe Park.
