∙ 10y agono he didn't.....but he was 4th at 1960 olympics in rome due to some error made by him in the last 250m of the race.He was in such a good form that he was most expected of all to win the race but slowing down in the few seconds caused him a painful memory which he still regrets.....however he has been the gold medalist in 1958 Commonwealth Games - 400 m,1958 Asian Games - 200 m and 400 m & in asian games 1962-400m.
