In ballet, which I am starting soon, and have done before, I will wear my black leotard with pink ballet tights and ballet shoes. For street dance or hip hop, I would wear baggy trousers, a t-shirt and skate shoes or high-top trainers. So, it purely depends on which style.

I've never done that, but I'm thinking that you could just take a normal bra and cut off the straps and the part that wraps around the body so that its just the cups left. Then you could just sew that straight into your leotard. Also, if you don't go to a very strict ballet school, you may be able to wear a sports bra under your leotard. I usually wear a black sportsbra underneath a black leotard that is really low in the front, I make the colors match so that its less noticable. But you could mix and match the colors.
