For unexpired tickets (such as those purchased before the implementation of expiration date, or those purchased with the "No Expiration" option), they can be used without exchange if they are the new-style of ticket (with a magnetic bar on the back). Older tickets that do not have a magnetic bar can be exchanged for an equal number of days as the original.
