∙ 10y agoA pivot is to rotate with one foot, it is commonly done when playing most sports, such as Netball and Basketball. When a ballerina is dancing she also does a pivot in certain moves to emphasize a certain routine. Some people also have a pivot joint in their knee, which is when the knee cap can rotate freely.
