Sure!....If it is registered with the MVA. Which means, you have insurance, lights (safety inspection), titled, motorcycle licence...etc. Your Rm 250? nope. Yes, but if they are public streets it has to be street legal and have all the proper lighting, it must also be licensed. It is illegal to ride a dirt bike on the road in America unless it has brake lights, a license plate, and mirrors.
The ride will be rough because of the knobby tires, but you can ride a dirt bike on pavement.
If you intend to ride a dirt bike on a city street or a highway (which I do not advise), be sure it can match the speed of the vehicles around it. Also, wear protective gear. Other motorized vehicles aren't very forgiving if you run into them or if they run into you. ;)
Well, you can, but you need to consider the distances involved. A MTB XC trail can stretch for miles and take hours of continuous slogging to go around. A BMX as a rule won't let you pedal efficiently while seated, so it can get real tiring after a while.
Yes, a Motocross bike will have stiffer suspension and the gearbox isn't the best for the woods riding.
(UK)I just rang the police to ask, and they said, along as your pushing it and you on the pavement you will be fine, just make sure the engine is switched off- so yes it is LEGAL.
Is it possible? Yes. Is it legal? No.
The YZ is a motocross bike, the trail or woods bike is a WR426.
Yes, you can trail ride a motocross bike, however the stock gearing and suspension on a mx'er aren't the best for trails and woods.
OF COURSE Of course you should, learning to ride a two-wheeler is just the basics. Learning to ride a motocross bike just takes it to a whole new level.
Ride, provide maintenance for bike and train.
By dirt bike do you mean and enduro bike or a motocross bike or some other bike at all? For any bike except motocross bike you definitely need license, and for motocross bike you don't, because you can't ride it on the streets at all... You can only use it in motocross tracks and for that you need to have a special permit...
10- 15
