If you break a rule in basketball, such as foul or double-dribble, the defending team takes the ball out-of-bounds, meaning it's their ball.
A general term to use to say that the ball is out of bounce is that the ball is out of the area you are playing in.
When basketball was first created players were not allowed to dribble the ball.
It means that the ball out of bounds/ out of play/ not on the court.
It is when you put to hands on the ball then dribble again.
Because, the refs will call traveling on you.( that's not dribbling the ball or taking more than 3 steps. ;)
When you dribble the ball, stop and hold it, then continue dribbling. Or when u dribble the ball with two hands :)
It's when you bounce the ball.
so you can dribble the basketball
It means to dribble the ball and pick it up again and dribble it.
don't travel (take 3 steps without dribbling), don't double dribble (Dribble, pick the ball up, then dribble again), don't foul the shooter (make contact with the shooter while shooting that changes the course of the ball), don't go out of bounds.
