Yes. It is possible for poverty to cause children to be obese for two reasons. One, sometimes in poverty alot of people just look for the cheapest thing to eat and in many cases it will be fast food (McDonalds, Wendys etc.). Another reason is that when growing chldren don't get the vitamins they need it can cause their stomach to swell, causing them to appear 'obese'.
Hope this helps!
It's eithercinherited or eating too much fat foods, high in fats. Or eating at night & sleeping late.
It can cause illnesses
medical setbacks
There are 31.7% of obese children in America.
Genetics can cause this. But, today, the most common reason is being obese.

being fat is a bigproblem!
I know that being obese makes the heart work harder than it should. :)
There has always been the stigma associated with poverty and malnutrition, but highmalnutritionrates in MEDC’s are continually becoming more common, with a large amount of elderly over 65s, and obese people being the major contributors. While countries, previously thought to have a severe problem with obesity, are actually being effected more by obesity, for example in Africa. It's not uncommon for parents to think that obese children are healthy children, as oftenundernourishmentis a sign of illness (often more likely HIV and AIDS). However, the highest cases ofmalnutritionoccur in LEDC countries
36.9 in 2008 And 20% to 25% of Australia adults are obese, even more are seriously overweight. Since 1995 to 1997 the obese record has double.

I don't think so, but just like people being obese can cause serous health issues that can cause death. So being fat by itself doesn't but the issues that come with it can.
