Well, it depends on what you're using them for. If you are trying to express an opinion you have about golfing attire (or something more transcendant)--it can be an abstracted artistic expression of functional art. If you are interested in it, you can look into the Dada Movement (1916-1921)--whose anti-war feeling brought on anti-art approaches by creating things that do not necessarily function as they appear. Sometimes people would create costumes, or design things--and incorporate them into "performance art" pieces, in which they would act something out or do something to get their point across to the viewer. So it is totally do-able! It's all a matter of thinking like an artist!!:)

∙ 14y agoIf I am brutally honest, then no. There is no where you could place the spikes, so it simply would not work. If you cannot afford Golf shoes, or you don't play enough to justify a purchase you could simply wear a pair of smart shoes and no one would be the wiser. You obviously can not wear trainers as most golf clubs don't allow these.
