if you are trying to jump on a regulation hoop which is 10 ft you would have to jump 1'1", because your hand has to touch the hoop, and your wingspan is your height, so u need only half that plus your jump to touch, so if your 5'11", then half that is about 3'. but for your head to touch you would have to jump 6'1", then you take that 6'1" and subtract 3, and walla, you get 3'1" you have to jump to dunk on a regulation hoop if you're 5'11".
