Why did Hitler hate Jesse Owens?

He didn't. He didn't walk out the stadium when Owens won. Also he didn't congratulate him afterwards because he had decided not to congratulate any athelete from any nation. I heard once (though cannot be sure it's true) that the rumour was started by the Americans because Owens was allowed to run in Nazi Germany but was banned from running in certain US States because he was black. Owens himself said that the applause he got from the Berlin crowd was the best he had ever received in his career. Apparently the story went on for so many years that in the end Owens just agreed with it although at first he always denied Hitler had snubbed him.

Did President Roosevelt invite Jesse Owens to the White House to receive any special awards after his Olympics' win?

In Jesse Owens' own words, "Although I wasn't invited to shake hands with Hitler, I wasn't invited to the White House to shake hands with the President either." Owens met with a great deal of racism in his own home country. He traveled with his team at a time when blacks weren't allowed to eat in most restaurants or use most public rest rooms. It took 40 years for Owens to be invited to the White House: in 1976, President Gerald Ford presented him with a Medal of Freedom. Three years later, President Jimmy Carter presented him with a Living Legend Award. And in 1990, ten years after he died, President George Bush honored Owens posthumously with the Congressional Medal of Honor. Owens' widow received it in her husband's name. Jesse was not invited to the white house by President Roosevelt, but was invited by President Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford.
