There was a player named Ramzi Abid drafted several years ago. He played for only a short while in the NHL and is now playing in Europe. He is a Canadian citizen and while I don't mean to generalize, his name would suggest that he might be Muslim. I have heard ,as well, that Martin Straka, now back in his native Czech Republic, is Muslim . Maybe someone can confirm that for me.
