Golf is a difficult game. You should want to make golf as easy (less frustrating) as possible. There are a number of companies that develop club technology specifically for beginners. Affinity is not known for its quality of products as compared to Adams, Cobra, Callaway, Bridgestone, Nike, etc. To maximize skill and fun on the course you should purchase the most amount of technology you can afford. I would suggest to a beginner to buy a lightly used "game improvement" set of clubs from a well known/ good quality manufacturer over a new set of Affinity clubs. Although they will be similarly priced, the amount of technology is incomparable between a reputable company and cheap big box store brands.
